Juhan has assisted the preparation of several successful funding proposals to various European Union innovation support programmes. 

His main tasks include:

  • R&D projects in the Horizon 2020 programme
  • EUREKA Eurostars R&D projects
  • Commercialisation of technology and partner search for R&D projects in the Enterprise Europe Network

In addition, Juhan has assisted proposal preparation to other programmes, such as 7th Framework Programme; CIP Eco-Innovation; CIP ICT PSP; CIP Intelligent Energy Europe or the European Union Civil Justice Programme. In various R&D projects, Juhan has successfully worked with innovative European SMEs (ZenRobotics, Canatu), large industry (ST Microelectronics, Giesecke & Devrient, Siemens) and research organisations (Aalto University, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Graz University of Technology).

Juhan has an MSc in Innovation and Science Policy research from Lund University, Sweden. Prior to joining Invent Baltics in 2009, he worked as the project manager of West-Estonia Regional Innovation Strategy.
